Happy Place

My garden is a space to experiment and nourish my soul. This is my second year of growing something beyond tomatoes and herbs.

After our holiday, (the first half of 2019 has been hell, multitude waves of illnesses. Even on vacation The Creature spiked a fever.) I was feeling fed up. My babies were growing so fast and I was spiraling down the depression vortex of doom. A place I am constantly trying to escape.

I took seeds and planted them. As they grow the vortex slow down. I am having more good days. I am not sure if gardening is my new hobby or just a way to reconnect to life again. In any case, it continues to help me through the dark days.

My father-in-law made a beautiful raised bed for us. Filled with zucchini, three sunflowers, and one melon.
